Nouwens joins medical team to serve new and current patients

ELLENSBURG, WA – Community Health of Central Washington – Ellensburg Clinic, is pleased to announce that it has added Mary Nouwens, ARNP, as a nurse practitioner to its primary care services team. Nouwens is currently seeing new and existing patients at the clinic’s offices located at 521 Mountain View Ave, Ellensburg.

“We are very pleased to have recruited Mary to join our primary health care team in Ellensburg,” says Mike Maples, MD, CEO, Community Health of Central WA. “Her experience and current knowledge of primary care medicine will serve our patients well.”

Nouwens holds a master’s of science degree in nursing practice, and also a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing, from Washington State University’s College of Nursing, Spokane. In addition, she has completed continuing nursing education study at University of Washington’s School of Nursing’s Wound Management Education Program.

Most recently, Nouwens was a nurse practitioner at Memorial Physicians Healthy Now Convenient Care Clinic in Yakima. Previously, she was employed by Community Health of Central WA as a nurse practitioner at their Yakima campus, providing acute and chronic illness care to patients.

Nouwens responsibilities at the Ellensburg Clinic will include providing primary care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations, to clinic patients and working with the clinic’s other healthcare providers as part of a treatment team offering a full spectrum of health services.
